Chair Tai Chi is very therapeutic for those with chronic diseases or those affected by neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s (PD), Essential Tremor, stroke recovery, diabetes, neuropathy, or any other balance issue. The hour-long class includes upright postures, restorative breathing, and moderate full-range movement.
Kim Kubsch will resume her “Chair Tai Chi” class at IronOaks Fitness Center on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 3:30-4:30pm in the Group Fitness Room. The class is ideal for people with chronic diseases, physical challenges or those undergoing rehab or physical therapy. Kim is passionate about teaching older adults Tai Chi-Qigong to relax the mind and body, while increasing flexibility, bone strength and stress reduction. The class is ongoing and attendance every Tuesday is not required.
Class participants must be IronOaks Fitness members or have a valid Silver Sneakers card. For more information, contact Annette at IronOaks Fitness Center at 480 802-6853.
